The program is carried out within the research institutions participating in the EUROfusion consortium. The activities are continuous, dedicated to identifying capable and interested young people in the field of nuclear fusion, recruiting and mentoring them as PhD/Master students and ensuring a research program in accordance with the requirements of the PhD/Master schools, but dedicated to fusion. PhD/Master students are provided with financial support in the form of a scholarship or salary during their PhD/Master studies and, within the limits of funds, participation in scientific events dedicated to fusion (summer schools, conferences, etc.). During the years 2025-2026, 3 PhD students benefited from financial support within the project. The young researchers participated in research activities in the Institute of Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics and in domestic and international scientific events. Important stages of the doctoral course of the project participants were completed, such as conducting scientific experiments, supporting research reports, and developing publications.
